800 MHz Vertical Bore Mouse Imaging Results

Recent results from 800 MHz Doty Vertical Bore Imaging Probe
with Model 26-40 Three Axis MRI Gradients

We wish to thank Dr. Brian Cherry, Dr. Kevin Bennett and Dr. Jeff Yarger, the Magnetic Resonance Research Center at Arizona State University, for sharing these images.

The specimens were placed in a 10 mm NMR tube and submerged in Gd doped H2O.
Gradient strength ~50 G/cm with a Doty Model 26-40 XYZ gradient.

Mouse Brain Image @ 18.8 T, 15x10x100 μm (nominal resolution)
Collected with a GEMS (Gradient Echo multi slice) sequence. TR = 250 ms, TE = 15.6 ms. FOV = 15 mm (RO), 10 mm (PE), 100 μm slice thickness. Data Matrix = 1024 x 1024.
Image collected with 900 averages

Mouse Kidney Image @ 18.8T, 20x20x20 μm nominal resolution
Collected with a SEMS (Spin Echo multi slice) sequence. TR = 500 ms, TE = 42.6 ms. FOV = 10mm (RO), 10 mm (PE), 200 μm slice thickness.
Data Matrix = 512 x 512.
Image collected with 120 averages.
